Following the closure of KRMA in the spring of 1997, we kept our training alive by practicing in a local park and later at a northeast Dayton recreational center. Supported by the guidance and encouragement of Shidoshi Dan Klug and Shidoshi Rittenhouse, we pooled our resources to secure a small 460 sq ft studio beneath an Urgent Care in Kettering, Ohio. The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo Martial Arts School officially opened its doors on November 3, 1997.
