Kids Training Program

Build Skills. Build Confidence. Build Character.

A Fun, Safe Start to Martial Arts. Age‑appropriate training that helps kids grow on and off the mats.

Kids Program Overview

The Kids Program at the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo provides structured martial arts training for youth ages six to thirteen, offering a development‑appropriate blend of rolling, striking, grappling, and principle‑driven drills rooted in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. Students are grouped by age so they can progress at a pace that matches their physical and cognitive stage, creating a supportive environment where confidence, coordination, and discipline can grow. This personal approach aligns with the dojo’s long‑standing commitment to community and individualized guidance, a hallmark of its presence in the Dayton area since 1997. Parents looking for age‑appropriate martial arts development or principle‑based youth training will find the program intentionally designed to build both skill and character.

Kids classes meet twice each week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, providing a consistent schedule that supports steady progress and routine. Training takes place in a spacious 9,200‑square‑foot facility equipped with more than 100 tatami mats, offering a safe, well‑padded environment for young students to explore movement and technique. Each session draws from the dojo’s curriculum and the instructor’s experience, ensuring variety, structure, and a strong foundation in traditional martial arts. Families seeking a reliable weekly training rhythm or a safe, well‑equipped dojo environment will find the Kids Program an excellent fit for both physical development and personal growth.
