Dojo Training Costs
Below are the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo training costs to become a member or participate in class. (For Thrive Yoga and Tai Chi schedules, please see their respective sections.)
Adult Membership

$175 one-time startup fee
$90 monthly fee ($85 if auto-pay)

The Adult Program is designed for adults and young adults age 14 years old and older. Adult students of all ages are welcome. Enrollment is accepted year round for approved candidates. The start-up fee is $175 per person/family. The start-up fee includes the first month's dues, a training uniform, a training curriculum, and unlimited class attendance per month. Every month thereafter, training dues are $90 per month. Martial arts fees and liability forms are managed through the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo’s Zen Planner Fitness Business software platform.
There are no long-term contracts. Membership automatically renews month-to-month but may be cancelled at anytime with a 15-day email or written notice (no verbal cancellation notices). Students are required to sign a liability form, an auto-pay monthly payment agreement, and accept the rules of the Bujinkan Hombu Headquarters and Dayton Bujinkan Dojo.
Autopay and its savings is the default payment method for the dojo’s Zenplanner system. Family costs are available at a reduced rate. (Two adults = $129 per month; One adult and one child = $118 per month, etc.) Ask an instructor for more information.
Kids Membership

The Young Adult (Kids) Program is designed for boys and girls age 6-13 years old. Enrollment is accepted year round. The start-up fee is $150 per person/family. The start-up fee includes the first month's dues, a free training uniform, training material two classes a week for the first month. Every month thereafter, training dues are $62 a month. Martial arts fees and liability forms are managed through the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo’s Zen Planner Fitness Business software platform.

Students or their parents/guardians are required to sign a liability form, auto-pay monthly payment agreement, and accept the rules of the dojo.

Non-Membership & Walk-ins*

The Non-Membership option is available for adult students who would like to train at the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo but pay per class instead of becoming a member. It is recommended for students training less than four times a month or out-of-town guests. Martial arts fees and liability forms are managed through the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo’s Zen Planner Fitness Business software platform.
A mat fee of $20 is due for every class attended, paid at the beginning or end of class.
An electronic liability form is required on file for all Non-Membership students.
This "pay as you train" option is for adult students only per class and can't be combined with other programs. Enrollment is accepted year round for approved candidates.
*Walk-In Policy
The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo is a private training facility and does not permit casual visits from the public. We welcome visiting Bujinkan practitioners to attend class as a "walk-in" if they have previously trained with us or have a reference from another Bujinkan dojo. If you do not meet these requirements, please submit a visit request using the "Join the Dojo" link below before you plan to attend. Please understand that the instructor of any class retains the full right to deny walk-in attendance at their sole discretion.
