The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo will host a ‘Back From Japan’ Workshop on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11 AM to 4:30 PM. This workshop is designed to review and share material explored during recent training in Japan, offering attendees a glimpse into the themes and ideas presented by Japanese senior instructors. Although there has not yet been time to fully practice or internalize these lessons, the workshop will present examples of taijutsu concepts and kuden (oral teachings and discussions) encountered during the trip. The goal is to help participants gain fresh perspectives and discover new angles for understanding Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. The workshop will be taught collectively by multiple instructors who visiting Japan together for training.
All Bujinkan students and approved guests are welcome to attend. We recommend wearing a full do-gi training uniform and bringing a notebook.
The event is reserved for young adult and adult members of the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo, past workshop participants, and approved guests. (If you haven't attended an event at the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo before, please request attendance prior to registering to avoid any issues.) Registration is free, pay at the door.
