COVID-19: Dojo Officially Closed as of March 16, 2020
Attention Active Members of the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo:
Today, Ohio Governor DeWine announced the Ohio Department of Health issued an order closing fitness centers and gyms, bowling alleys, public recreational centers, movie theaters, indoor water parks and indoor trampoline parks as of the evening of Monday, March 16, 2020 because of the COVID-19 virus outbreak. This also applies to martial arts schools in Ohio.
As a result, classes at the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo Martial Arts School are temporarily cancelled until April 1, 2020. At that time we will reassess the situation to determine if classes can resume or the cancellation needs to be extended.
We realize this is an unprecedented time for everyone, and while the situation will likely continue to evolve, your health and safety are what is most important. During this downtime, we encourage you to practice solo training or review old Bujinkan notes and books. In addition, reconnect with old friends on the phone and check-in on family and neighbors. As a community, we will come out of this stronger than before. Dayton Strong. Stay light-hearted and optimistic. We will get through this. And likely have a big party when it's all over.
