Photos from the 10 yr Dojo Facility Celebration

On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo celebrated ten years in its current training facility (and 28 years as an active dojo). We figured it was a good excuse for a party. We held a workshop focused on flexible weapons, and then hung out together for a causal dinner celebration. Looking back, we had fun reviewing some interesting cumulative stats from these past ten years:

~4400 scheduled classes held

~5100 class training hours

~110 workshops, seminars, and events

~1100 sets of Shoshin and Gogyo practiced

~352,000 uke falls/get-ups (nana korobi ya oki!)

~792,000 strikes practiced in class

~Countless new and old buyu training together

~0 Blue Moons spilled in the dojo

Great memories! Time goes by quick. Very appreciative for all that we have experienced and learned so far. Here's to the next ten years!
