Saturday, December 13, 2008 - Dayton Bujinkan Mini Dai Komyo Sai

***Update: The event was changed from December 6 to December 13, 2008 due to a schedule conflict with Dan Klug's availability. Sorry for any difficulties this may have caused.***

The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo will be holding its annual Mini Dai Komyo Sai Seminar and Dinner party on Saturday, December 13, 2008. What is a Dai Komyo Sai? It is a large seminar and dinner event held each year in Japan, celebration another year of training and Hatsumi Soke's birthday. The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo celebrates it's own mini-Dai Komyo Sai to celebrate the same thing!

This year's seminar event will be held from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, Dec 13, with a potluck dinner starting at 6:30 pm. During the dinner party, announcements about the upcoming year and awards for the previous year are celebrated. Shihan Dan Klug is scheduled as the premiere instructor - his 11th year! Learn more about Dan on the Mentors page. The theme of the seminar is Budo Taijutsu; expect Dan to review concepts which incorporate groundfighting, weapons, and unarmed movement.

The training portion is open to all guests and students - new students are encouraged to attend! Cost for the seminar is $45. The potluck dinner and awards party is held in the evening at the dojo, and is free! To sign-up for the seminar, please contact the dojo or call 937-436-0725. We look forward to seeing you!
