Student Training Costs
The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo Martial Arts School offers classes for adults six days a week and children twice a week. Students are invited to train as much as they see fit. The costs of training at the dojo pays for the overhead of running the school. Although not a non-profit organization, the dojo is a not-for-profit facility. The moneys the dojo collects in dues goes toward dojo expenses, including rent, insurance, utilities, uniforms, training targets, seminar expenses (bringing guest instructors in), and accounting. During class, the dojo supplies each student with high quality training gear, including weapons, hand targets, and a matted-floor system for safety. The Dayton Bujinkan Dojo's goal is to provide the best martial arts training and facility for its dojo members. Our instructor's staff is made up of volunteers. We feel our pricing attracts the type of student congruent to the standards of the Bujinkan. Below are costs to train at the Dayton Bujinkan Dojo effective January 1, 2012.

Adult Costs:
Startup Fee:
$175, includes first month training, uniform, training guide
Monthly Fee:
$80 a month ($75 if auto-pay)
Adult Auto-pay Discount Option:
Receive a $5 discount per month. The dojo will charge your credit card or check card automatically on or around the 20th of every month.
Children Costs:
Startup Fee:
$100, includes first month training, uniform, training guide
Monthly Fee:
1st Child: $55 a month ($50 if auto-pay)
2nd Child: $20 a month ($15 if auto-pay)
Children Auto-pay Discount Option:
Receive a $5 discount per month. The dojo will charge your credit card or check card automatically on or around the 20th of every month.
Family Costs:
Adult and one or more spouse/children training (immediate family only)
Family Startup Fee:
$175 includes first month training, uniform, training guide for each
Monthly Fee:
Family of Two Adults: $115 per month ($110 if auto-pay)
Family of One Adult + One Child: $105 per month ($100 if auto-pay)
Family of Three: $125 per month ($120 if auto-pay)
Family of Four+: $150 per month ($145 if auto-pay)

Adult Mat Fees
"Pay as you train" for adult students only. Not available for multiple family member training.
$20 per class
Additional Information:
The Dojo accepts cash, checks and credits for payment.
Referral Credit:
Any active student who brings in a referral who joins the dojo receives a one-time $20 credit toward mat dues. Not applicable for Mat Fee Only students. Active student must complete a payment form for the $20 credit to be submitted at time of new student pays startup fee.
Auto-pay Discount Option:
$5 discount per student training per month. The dojo will charge your credit card or check card automatically on or around the 20th of every month. Not applicable for mat fee only students.
Other Fees:
Late Fee: $5 per month
Returned Checks: $20 per check
Prior Student Restart:
Any student taking more than 3 months off will have a restart fee of $30 in addition to their regular monthly fees. Breaks in training with notification in advance will have the fee waived when they return. (example: summer off for kids).
